US-based digital medical professional platform Doximity recently announced a partnership with national value-based care leader Aledade, in which Doximity's Scribe (an ambient notetaking tool) and Ask (a clinical AI assistant) technologies will be integrated into Aledade Assist™: an electronic health overlay that allows clinical insights to be readily accessed by clinicians at the point of care. Through this partnership, Aledade physicians will be able to have detailed notes taken automatically for them while meeting with patients, as well as have instant access to evidence-backed answers for their clinical questions.
Aledade CEO and co-founder Dr. Farzad Mostashari provided some additional context on the importance of this announcement in the joint press release, stating "What makes this partnership powerful isn't the technology alone - it's where it lands. Aledade brings a decade of patient-level data, the trust of primary care clinicians, and a national network built practice by practice on proven outcomes. That's the infrastructure that turns a promising AI tool into something that actually moves the needle for patients." Doximity CEO and co-founder Jeff Tangeny also expressed his excitement, saying "We're proud to partner with Aledade to support independent physicians with customizable AI solutions to help them save time and money."
Founded in 2014 by Dr. Farzad Mostashari, Mat Kendall, and Edwin Miller, Aledade has spent over a decade establishing itself as a national leader in value-based care - working with independent primary care providers to create Accountable Care Organizations that serve approximately three million people across the United States.
