Dentons advises Global Relay on acquisition and financing of 45 Cannon Street

London-Dentons, the world's largest global law firm, has advised Global Relay on the acquisition and financing of 45 Cannon Street, a prime City of London office building.

Global Relay is a leading provider of end-to-end compliance solutions for the global financial sector and other highly regulated industries.

45 Cannon Street comprises approximately 90,000 sq ft of office and retail accommodation. Global Relay is the building's anchor tenant, occupying the majority of the building's lettable space, with the remaining space fully let including to asset manager DWS Group.

The transaction involved the corporate acquisition of the freeholder from AOG, alongside the debt financing of the purchase.
