San Diego - Caltrans will close the southbound Interstate 805 (I-805) to westbound State Route 54 (SR-54) connector from Monday, September 29, to Thursday, October 2, in the evenings from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. for broadband installation work.
Southbound I-805 motorists may take the eastbound SR-54 connector, exit at Highland Ave., and then utilize the westbound SR-54 on ramp.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
