The inaugural Summer Sizzle: Diner en Violet at Olive-Harvey College was an absolute success, bringing together more than 100 students, staff, families, and neighbors during a beautiful Chicago evening.
Attendees embraced the theme by dressing in their favorite violet attire, and the community spirit was high as tables competed for the "Best Dressed Table" award.
"The success of our inaugural Diner en Violet is a true testament to the strength of our community. Seeing all the violet, our campus filled with the laughter of our students, staff, families, and South Side neighbors, reminds me and my teams on 'why' we do this work," said President Dr. Kimberly Hollingsworth, Olive-Harvey College. "This event brought us all together and I want to express my deepest thanks to everyone who attended and worked behind the scenes to make this summer community celebration an unforgettable experience."
Plans are already underway for Summer Sizzle: Diner en Violet 2027.
