FWC to host public meeting on flathead catfish in DeFuniak Springs
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) will host a public meeting on Oct. 9 in DeFuniak Springs to gather input from stakeholders about flathead catfish in Panhandle rivers.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for interested stakeholders to share their perspectives and provide feedback to FWC staff regarding this nonnative catfish species and its presence in northwest Florida river systems.
