Mediacorp teams up with W-Sport to bring women’s sports to Singapore

Mediacorp Singapore has teamed up with W-Sport to launch the women's sports channel on its Mewatch streaming service. Viewers will be able to access W-Sport as a paid add-on, marking the channel's entry into the Singapore market.

W-Sport offers up to 10 live women's soccer matches weekly from major leagues inGermany's Frauen-Bundesliga, Italy's Serie A Femminile, the United States' USL Super League, and Sweden's Damallsvenskan. The channel also features other sports including netball, basketball, surfing, and track and field, along with documentaries and magazine shows about women athletes.

The Singapore launch continues W-Sport's Asian expansion, following recent deals in Thailand and Malaysia. The channel is also available across several European countries including France (Free), Portugal (MEO and NOS), the Netherlands (KPN), Belgium (Telenet, Proximus, and Orange), Luxembourg (Post TV), and Türkiye (S Sport Plus, TiviBu, and Türksat Kablo).
