Laurence Ford Named to LIBN “40 Under Forty”
Long Island Business News named Laurence (Larry) Ford one of its 40 Under Forty honorees for 2024. The annual award recognizes Long Island-based professionals who have a proven track record of career success, community engagement, and mentorship.
Ford is an Associate in Langan's Melville, New York, office with 18 years of geotechnical engineering experience. His expertise includes subsurface investigations, shallow and deep foundation systems, excavation calculations, geotechnical reports and construction specifications, and construction inspection services. Ford recently helped open Langan's Long Island office to better serve clients, projects, and the community. His passion for supporting future leaders and advancing the AEC industry is evident in his mentorship of SUNY Stony Brook students. Ford dedicates his time to meeting with civil engineering students throughout their senior year to share his knowledge, provide guidance, and help prepare them for the workforce.
