With close games and the Red River Rivalry bringing rivals together, meet the fans who experienced all the competition at Cosm.
The biggest College Football games of the season are at Cosm. Every week, College Football fans in Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit, and Los Angeles are transported beyond the front row to stadiums across the country to experience touchdowns, interceptions, and game-changing plays from inside the action in Shared Reality. To celebrate the ones who know Saturdays live at Cosm, we're highlighting fans across our venues each week, sharing their stories of fandom, why they live for their school's colors, and asking: When you can't be there, why should you be at Cosm for College Football?

Erin | Oklahoma Fan at Cosm Detroit
Cosm transformed The Dome into the Cotton Bowl, where Texas and Oklahoma met for the annual Red River Rivalry. While many thought the previously No. 1-ranked Texas would dominate as they have in the past, Oklahoma wasn't going down without a fight.
The Red River Rivalry has always been a happy memory for Oklahoma Sooners fan Erin. Even more so this year after Oklahoma defeated the previously top-ranked Texas 27-24, dropping them down seven spots in the AP Top 25.
What's your favorite memory as an Oklahoma fan?
My favorite memory was when I was dating my husband, and we went to the Red River Showdown in Texas, and we had a great time. So I've been a Boomer Sooner ever since.
What do you think is the coolest thing about being an Oklahoma fan that didn't go to Oklahoma?
It's a really cool environment and a really cool culture. When you go around, you see another OU hat. You say 'Boomer,' they say 'Sooner,' and it's this really cool thing. Growing up in Michigan, I went to Marquette. I didn't have a football team, so I've adopted the Boomer Sooner nation, and it's just really fun whenever you see somebody and how passionate they all are.
What would you say to somebody that would be interested in coming to Cosm Detroit to see a College Football game?
It's a great environment. They have great food. They have awesome drinks. Everybody is very nice, and it feels like you're at the game. You can see the cheerleaders. You can see the mascots. You can see everything on the sidelines. It's really fun.
Chase and Butch | Texas Fans at Cosm Los Angeles
Coming out of the Red River Rivalry, we couldn't all be winners. But being able to experience College Football like never before in The Dome, even Longhorn fans Chase and Butch had something to celebrate at Cosm.
Tell me why you're a Texas Longhorns fan.
Chase: I'm a Longhorns fan because I grew up in Texas-grew up in Austin-and have a lot of family that was always Longhorns fans their whole lives. I'm the first in my family to go to UT, and that was a really big deal for my parents and my grandparents, so I'm a lifelong Longhorns fan.
Butch: I'm from Louisiana, but went to Texas. Graduated aerospace class of 2020, have been in L.A. ever since. Met my wife there first day of orientation, so obviously I'm a Longhorns fan for life.
What's your favorite memory being a Texas Longhorns fan?
Chase: Personally, probably graduation. Felt really good to make it over the finish line. But also, another really good one is the 2006 National Championship with Vince Young. I remember watching that football game whenever I was in first grade, so that was pretty sick. I had just started watching football and that was a foundational memory for me, so another huge reason I'm a Longhorns fan. It kind of got me kickstarted as a fan.
Who is Texas' biggest rival and why?
Butch: I was always told that Texas A&M was our biggest rival, historically. But I can't remember the last time we had any issues there.
Chase: I don't think they've beat us in 12 or 13 years.
Butch: It's been a minute. So maybe OU. But just looking in the crowd, I think I could count the number of OU fans on just one hand. I think we're in a pretty good spot here in Los Angeles at least.
Chase: It would be cool if A&M was our biggest rival, but they're just not good enough. I think our biggest rival is Oklahoma. There's at least a little bit of back and forth there usually. I think the reason they'd be jealous is obviously we have more national championships. We're good now. They haven't been good in a while, but at least the games are interesting most of the time.
Tell me about the experience of watching College Football at Cosm.
Chase: Watching College Football at Cosm is pretty cool. It's like being at the game in real life, except you get the nice AC, but you still have the same exact view. You get pretty good food, pretty good drinks, so it's like the really, really nice version of going to the game in real life.
Butch: For me, first time here. I think that it's exceptional. Really cool just to walk in and see the whole wraparound view for the first time. And then also, super underrated, I think, it's really baby-friendly. I got a one-year-old daughter and for this compared to a stadium, you can just let her crawl around in the booths and not really worry about her too much. Much better experience than the stadium for that side of things.
Chris | Alabama Fan at Cosm Detroit
After a blown call that could've changed the results of the Georgia vs. Alabama game, Texas fans weren't the only ones to leave Week 6 a little disappointed. Despite Georgia's 20-17 win over Alabama, both teams remain in the AP Top 25 rankings as College Football at Cosm continues.
And one thing is certain: Alabama and Alabama fans, like Chris, will stay hungry for a win heading into Week 7.
Tell me why you're an Alabama fan.
I reside out of Pontiac, Michigan, but it's Roll Tide all day. That's my team. I got roots in Alabama. We get it on, we get it popping. They're counting us out, but we're back in there. Roll Tide, baby!
What are your favorite memories being an Alabama fan?
I've been to the Iron Bowl. That was my first game. It was the Iron Bowl versus Auburn. We whipped them. We probably won by four possessions that game. The last game I went to was versus Georgia when Ryan Williams caught that touchdown and scored. We went up, and Xavier O'Brien finished the game with an interception. That's a core memory for sure.
Why did you choose Cosm to watch College Football?
What other way to spend my money? I could have been at home on a couch, but we're going to be here, be lit all day. Roll Tide, baby!
