Upcoming Planned Roadwork for Northeast Missouri, May 11 - May 22, 2026

HANNIBAL - The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.

All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.

Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.

Adair County

Missouri Route 149 - May 20, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Missouri Route 6 to Missouri Route 11 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Missouri Route 149 - May 21, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Missouri Route 11 to Missouri Route 156 in Macon County between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Audrain County

Route T - May 20 - 22, CLOSED for patching operations from Route E to Missouri Route 15 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Route EE - May 18 - 19, CLOSED for patching operations from CR 140 to Missouri Route 151 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.

Clark County

Route K - May 11, CLOSED for patching operations from Meadow Avenue to Route NN between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route K - May 20, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repair operations from Route N to CR 116 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route K - May 21, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repair operations from Tate Street to Missouri Route 136 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route P - May 18 - 19, CLOSED for patching operations from Route K in Clark County to the Iowa State line between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Missouri Route 81 - May 11, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 436 to CR 437 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Lincoln County

Missouri Route 47 - May 18 - 19, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from East Cherry Street to Autumn Oaks Drive between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

U.S. Route 24/U.S. Route 36 (Eastbound) - May 13, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Route J to Beech Road in Ralls County between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Missouri Route 79 Northbound (Mark Twain Avenue) - April 22 - July 1, CLOSED for Hannibal stormwater construction project from North Street to Reservoir Street beginning Wednesday, April 22nd at 12:00 a.m. through Wednesday, July 1st at 12:00 a.m.

Missouri Route 168 - May 13 , CLOSED for patching operations from Route Z in Shelby County to Route D in Marion County between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

I-70 - May 11 - 15 & 18 - 22, LANE RESTRICTION for shoulder work from the Callaway County line to the Warren County line between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Pike County

Route AB - May 13, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route F to CR 20 in Pike County between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Ralls County

U.S. Route 24/U.S. Route 36 (Eastbound) - May 13, CLOSED for bridge maintenance from Route J to Beech Road in Ralls County between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Route C - May 13, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route P to Madisonville Road between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route J - March 13 - June 26, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Route EE continuing south to the end of the Clarence Cannon Dam bridge beginning Friday, March 13th at 7:00 a.m. through Friday, June 26th at 4:00 p.m. However, the bridge will be open to traffic beginning at 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 22nd until 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 26th for the Memorial Day weekend.

Route P - May 11, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Butler Lane to U.S. Route 54 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Route FF - May 13, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Brison Drive to U.S. Route 61 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route JJ - May 13, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route P to Madisonville Road between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route C - May 11 - 14, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repair operations from North Tower Avenue to Route N between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.

Route K - May 20 - 21, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repair operations from Route B to U.S. Route 63 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Route Z - May 26 - 28, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repair operations from end of state maintenance to CR 202 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

U.S. Route 36 (Eastbound) - May 18, LANE RESTRICTION for median channelization operations from 1.0 mile east of Missouri Route 15 to 1.5 miles west of CR 449 between 6:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Missouri Route 168 - May 13, CLOSED for patching operations from Route Z in Shelby County to Route D in Marion County between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Warren County

I-70 North Outer Road - May 12 - 14, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Route J to Missouri Route 47 between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. A 10-foot restriction will be in please at the location where crews are actively working.
