Defence Minister Nikos Dendias to visit Washington

Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendiastravels today, Monday 2 February 2026, to Washington, the capital of the United States, where he will take part in the "Delphi Economic Forum Washington D.C. VII".
Mr. Dendias will deliver a speech today at the Forum (18:30 local time), on the topic "Defense at a crossroads: NATO, The Eastern Mediterranean, and U.S. Strategic Commitment".
On Tuesday 3 February 2026 (12 p.m. local time), the Minister of National Defence will participate in a discussion organized by FDD (The Foundation for Defense of Democracies) on the subject of current international and regional developments on matters of Defence and Security.
In the context of his stay in Washington, Mr. Dendias is expected to meet with participants in the works of the Forum, and other bodies.
