Body

Lash Construction is currently working on sidewalk access ramps and concrete sidewalk improvements on Laguna Street, as part of the Fiscal Year 2025C Pavement Maintenance (Concrete Improvements) Project. Concrete improvements are being completed in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and in preparation of future pavement maintenance projects. Project benefits include adding 64 new sidewalk access ramps, repairing 19,500 square feet of existing sidewalk, and repairing 600 linear feet of existing concrete curb and gutter.

No parking signs will be posted at least 72 hours prior to construction and detour signs (as necessary) will also be provided. Construction will occur Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work adjacent to Roosevelt Elementary School will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The first phase of the Project, as shown in the red box on the Project Location Map, is focused on Laguna Street from Montgomery Street to Figueroa Street and is expected to last ten weeks with completion in March, weather dependent. Construction of future phases will continue through November 2026.

The Project is primarily funded by Measure C. For more information about your local sales tax at work, visit the Citizens' Oversight Committee.

We greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation as we improve our local infrastructure.
