No: 63, 7 April 2026, Regarding the Storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by an Israeli Minister
We condemn in the strongest terms the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by an Israeli minister.
The violations and provocations by the Netanyahu government targeting the historical and legal status of Al-Aqsa Mosque, a holy site exclusively belonging to Muslims, are unacceptable.
We reiterate that it is the shared responsibility of the international community to ensure that Al-Aqsa Mosque is opened to Muslim worship and all restrictions on freedom of worship at holy sites in East Jerusalem are lifted.
