ATLANTA - State Representative Arlene Beckles (D-Norcross) encourages women and girls across the metro area to attend the upcoming Women's Empowerment Forum, "Empower Her, Elevate All - A Day of Empowerment & Transformation," on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the South DeKalb Senior Community Center.
"This event is about reminding women and girls that their voices matter, their dreams are valid, and their potential is limitless," said Rep. Beckles. "Whether you are just beginning your journey or redefining your next chapter, this forum offers tools, connections and encouragement to help you thrive."
Hosted by the UBig Women Empowerment (W.E.) Foundation, in partnership with community leaders, this forum is designed to inspire women at every stage of life. The program will feature DeShawn Fuller Bullard and other speakers who will guide participants through the W.E. Foundation SPICES Experience, focusing on spiritual, physical, intellectual, creative/career, emotional and social growth.
Attendees will participate in conversations around wellness, wealth-building, renewal and reclaiming purpose in 2026 and beyond. Participants will also engage in discussions, networking opportunities, lunch and additional community resources.

Representative Arlene Beckles represents the citizens of District 96, which includes a portion of Gwinnett County. She was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2024 and currently serves on the Special Rules, State Properties and Technology and Infrastructure Innovation committees.
