Lobos Supporting Lobos: Navigating support, resources and response to sexual and relationship violence

What happens when a member of the Lobo community experiences sexual assault, dating or domestic violence, or stalking? Where can they turn for support, what options are available, and how do university offices work together?
Join representatives from across The University of New Mexico on Friday, Nov. 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., a virtual event via Zoom for Lobos Supporting Lobos, a conversation about the resources, processes, and partnerships that help support students impacted by sexual and relationship violence. Individuals can register here.
Panelists from confidential advocacy, counseling, housing, student conduct, university police, and Title IX will discuss their respective roles, explain how students can access support and navigate available options, and answer questions from the campus community.
Whether you're seeking information for yourself, supporting a friend, or simply hoping to better understand UNM's response, this conversation is designed to help Lobos feel informed, connected, and supported.
Attendees are encouraged to RSVP and submit questions in advance and can do so here or through the QR code in the graphic. Questions may also be submitted during the event. No personal experiences need to be shared to participate.
