The Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias will travel to Dublin, where he will take part tomorrow, Tuesday 1 September 2026, in the Informal Meeting of Defence Ministers of the European Union.

At the first working session, the Ministers of Defence shall discuss the latest developments in the Ukrainian issue. The second working session will target EU Space Strategy for Security and Defence.

At the working lunch, where "Current Affairs" will be discussed, the Vice-President of the European Commission and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas will brief EU's Defence Ministers on the situation in the Middle East, and maritime security.
