Chippewa Falls Hospital and Clinic Officially Opens for Patient Care
CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. - Aspirus Health officially marked the opening of Aspirus Chippewa Falls Hospital and Clinic for patient care on Tuesday, September 22.
The new facility is designed to strengthen access to high-quality, patient-centered care for Chippewa Falls and the surrounding region.
The Aspirus Chippewa Falls Emergency Department received its first patient via Ambulance at 7:10 a.m. this morning and Aspirus Chippewa Falls Clinic had its first scheduled patient at 9 a.m.
The hospital and clinic, located at 1326 Chippewa Crossing Boulevard, brings hospital and clinic services together in one convenient location. Services include emergency care, inpatient hospital care, primary care, imaging services, laboratory services and an on-site inpatient pharmacy.
"This opening represents an important milestone for Aspirus and for the Chippewa Falls community," said Anne Sadowska, VP-Chief Administrative Officer, WI Northwest Division, Aspirus Health. "This facility was planned to restore local access to basic services as soon as possible and we are proud to bring together the services, technology and care teams that will help people receive excellent, compassionate care closer to home."
The opening follows a community celebration and ribbon-cutting event last week that welcomed local residents, community leaders, clinicians, staff and Aspirus leaders to learn more about the services available to patients. More than a thousand people took advantage of the opportunity to tour the new facility.
Aspirus leaders say the project reflects the organization's commitment to listening to local needs and responding with care that is accessible, coordinated and built around the communities it serves. By combining hospital and clinic services in one setting, the facility is designed to support timely evaluation, treatment and follow-up while creating a more seamless experience for patients and families.
"This is about more than opening a building," Sadowska said. "It is about restoring and strengthening access to trusted health care services in a way that supports the long-term health and vitality of Chippewa Falls and the broader Chippewa Valley. We are grateful to the many team members, partners and community supporters who helped make this possible."
