UA transitioning to new travel management company

UA Community,

We would like to inform you of an upcoming change to the university's travel management company. As part of the State of Alaska Request for Proposal (RFP) process, a new travel agency vendor, Travel Solutions International (TSI), has been selected and UA will be transitioning to this vendor in the near future. We will continue to use Concur as the University's travel and expense management system.

This change is part of the state's ongoing efforts to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and high-quality travel services are accessible. The new vendor will provide booking services for airfare, lodging, and other travel-related needs, along with enhanced technology and support.

At this time, the current travel processes will remain unchanged with Corporate Travel Management (CTM). We will share additional details in the coming weeks, including:

  • Implementation timelines
  • Training opportunities and resources
  • Updates to booking procedures (if applicable)
  • Key contacts for travel support

Our goal is to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption to campus travel activities.
