Global sports platform, Fanatics, today announced the grand opening of its new concept store at Hysan Place in Causeway Bay, marking a significant milestone in the brand's continued expansion across Asia.
The store is built around the "Game vs Game" concept, serving as a spatial narrative that juxtaposes games across different eras to reinterpret the evolution and legacy of sports culture. Bringing together major leagues including the NBA, MLB, NFL, and NHL, the store also extends into the global football landscape, creating an immersive retail environment where classic and contemporary sports moments coexist.
The product assortment spans a wide range of international sports and iconic brands. In addition to merchandise from North America's major leagues, the store features official products from top European football clubs including Paris Saint-Germain. Key offerings also include throwback jerseys from Mitchell & Ness, trading cards from Topps, and authentic signed memorabilia, delivering a cross-sport, cross-cultural destination for fans and collectors alike.
To celebrate the opening, NBA icon Derrick Rose made a special appearance at the store, participating in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and engaging with fans. His appearance drew significant attention from both media and the local community.
A Fanatics spokesperson commented:
"Hong Kong is a key hub where sports and street culture intersect in Asia. Through the 'Game vs Game' concept, we aim to connect sporting moments across generations and inspire a new wave of fans to engage with the evolution of sports culture."
