Norton Rose Fulbright partner James Berger (Los Angeles) has been recognized as a 2026 Private Equity and M&A Business Visionary by the Los Angeles Times.

This recognition honors leaders in the private equity and M&A field who demonstrate strategic leadership, industry experience and a significant impact on transactions, business growth and economic development.

With more than 12 years of M&A deal experience in California, James has established himself as a prominent renewable energy lawyer by providing counsel on wind, solar and energy storage deals throughout the US. He represents sponsors, lenders and equity investors in connection with the acquisition, financing and development of energy projects, with an emphasis on renewable energy.
