Mayor Garner to Present His Final State of the Govt. Address Dec. 2nd

On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, Mayor/ CEO Tyrone A. Garner will deliver his final State of the Government address at Memorial Hall (600 N. 7th Trfy., KCK) from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, with the program officially beginning at 12:00 PM. Hosted by the KCK Rotary Club, this year's event will be held in the main arena of Memorial Hall for both ticketed attendees and free of charge for community members.
During Mayor Garner's address, he will review the wins and challenges of his term and will share the stage with Mayor-Elect Christal Watson to share her vision for Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas. The KCK Rotary has hosted the annual State of the Government address since the 1960's and are selling individual tickets and tables of eight for the buffet luncheon.
General auditorium seating will be available free-of-charge for community members interested in attending. Everyone is welcome!
Please note: lunch will not be provided for attendees without tickets. This event will also be live-streamed on the Unified Government YouTube channel for individuals unable to attend in-person.
