WASHINGTON D.C - In case you missed it, U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ), a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, oined cancer survivors and Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) activists for a rally held at the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday, vowing to remain a relentless ally in their fight to hold corporations accountable for manufacturing products containing glyphosate, a pesticide that has given thousands of people who used Bayer's RoundUp, cancer.
In February, President Donald J. Trump issued an executive order boosting the domestic production of glyphosate, siding with manufacturers over cancer survivors with pending litigation against the chemical manufacturer, Monsanto. In contrast, last month, Booker filed an amicus brief with the court backing cancer patients in a case that could determine whether thousands of lawsuits over the weedkiller Roundup can proceed. As the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the case, Booker called on survivors and activists at the rally to never give up and to continue their fight for a healthier and more just America.

Booker: "I tell you, this movement is not one of hate. It has got to be one fueled by the love that farmers have for their soil, the love that parents have for their children, the love that neighbors have for their neighbors who are suffering from preventable cancers. This has got to be a movement that grows, does not divide, but multiplies."
