On the morning of 28 July 2026, at PVI Tower, PVI Holdings convened its Mid-Year Business Review Conference and Second-Half Business Plan Deployment Meeting. The event was attended by members of the Board of Directors, the Executive Management Board and senior executives from across the PVI Group.
The conference was co-chaired by Mr. Duong Thanh Danh Francois, Standing Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Nguyen Tuan Tu, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer.
The conference reviewed the Group's operating results for the first six months of 2026, assessed market opportunities and challenges, and agreed on key priorities and action plans to achieve - and strive to exceed - the business targets approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders and the Board of Directors for 2026.
Despite a challenging global economic environment characterised by persistent inflationary pressures, prolonged geopolitical tensions and heightened market volatility, the PVI Group delivered outstanding results, significantly exceeding its first-half business targets.
Key highlights include:
PVI Insurance further strengthened its leadership in Vietnam's non-life insurance market, maintaining its leading position in terms of capital, market share and underwriting performance. During the first half of 2026, the Company recorded a combined ratio of 84.1% while increasing its market share to 17.9%.
The Group also maintained strong investment performance despite a volatile interest rate environment and significant foreign exchange fluctuations. During the period, consolidated Return on Equity (ROE) reached 22.6%, while the financial return on consolidated equity stood at 11.2%, demonstrating PVI's resilient financial management and investment capabilities.
Alongside its business achievements, PVI continues to reinforce its reputation as one of Vietnam's leading insurance groups in corporate governance. Built upon international best practices, a robust risk management framework and the active participation of its strategic foreign shareholder, PVI has continuously enhanced its governance standards, particularly in capital management, enterprise risk management and internal audit.
The growing prestige of the PVI brand and its member companies has been increasingly recognised through a series of prestigious domestic and international awards.
Among the most notable achievements:
These consecutive recognitions from respected international organisations reflect PVI's continued commitment to sustainable development, stronger corporate governance, technological innovation and service excellence. They also provide a solid foundation for enhancing the Group's competitiveness and expanding its presence across regional markets.
After three decades of development, PVI has evolved into one of Vietnam's leading financial and insurance groups with a growing regional presence. Entering its next phase of growth, PVI remains committed to two strategic priorities: continuing its role in safeguarding the nation's key infrastructure projects and strategic industries while proactively expanding its business footprint beyond Vietnam to compete successfully in international markets.
To realise this vision, PVI will focus on three strategic pillars:
With a solid financial foundation, sound governance, international partnerships and a clear long-term strategy, PVI is well positioned to sustain profitable growth and reinforce its standing as one of the region's leading financial and insurance institutions.
