Holiday Trash and Recycling Schedule

Did you know you can search your trash and recycle pickup schedule online? Simply enter in your address at www.goodyearaz.gov and you'll receive your personalized schedule.

While most holidays do not impact collection services, there are a few exceptions to be aware of.

Holidays in 2026 When Pickup Occurs One Day Later

• Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 26, 2026

• Christmas Day - Friday, December 25, 2026

• New Year's Day - Friday, January 1, 2027

If your normal pickup day falls on one of the dates above, your service will occur the next day.

Remaining Holidays in 2026 That Do Not Affect Service

Trash, recycling, and bulk pickup will run on the normal schedule on the following remaining 2026 holidays:

• Memorial Day
• Juneteenth
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Veterans Day

Pro tip: Goodyearaz.gov/trash is also where you can find out what you can and can't be recycled by using the Recycle Right Wizard tool. Type in any item to find out which bin it needs to be tossed into!
