REVISED: Nightly lane and ramp closures on U.S. 50 in Jackson Cou…

REVISED: JACKON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting nightly lane and ramp closures on eastbound and westbound U.S. Route 50 in Lee's Summit from MO 291 south to MO 291 north. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications:

Mon., Sept. 15 until Tues., Sept. 16 between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.

  • Various lane closures on westbound U.S. 50 Hwy between MO 291 north and MO 291 south.
  • Crews will close the 291 south to the U.S. 50 east on ramp.

Mon., Sept. 15 until Wed., Sept. 17 between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.

  • Various lane closures on eastbound U.S. 50 between MO 291 south and MO 291 north.
  • Crews will close the MO 291 north ramp to U.S. 50 east.
  • Crews will close the U.S. 50 east ramp to MO 291 north.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
