Employers and Job Seekers to Connect at Brewton Area Job Fair on April 7

BREWTON, Ala. - Job seekers in Escambia County and surrounding areas are invited to attend the Annual Brewton Area Job Fair on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Coastal Alabama Community College Gym, located at 220 Alco Drive in Brewton, AL.

Co-hosted by the Brewton Career Center and Coastal Alabama Community College, the event will bring together up to 30 employers and workforce resources, offering a wide range of employment opportunities across multiple industries. Currently, 19 employers are registered to participate, with additional space available for businesses seeking to connect with local talent.

Participating employers and organizations include healthcare providers, manufacturers, state agencies, and regional businesses such as Addus Healthcare, Georgia-Pacific, Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company, Alabama Department of Public Health, and more.

Attendees are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resume, dress professionally, and be prepared to engage with hiring representatives. The Alabama Department of Workforce's Mobile Career Center will also be on-site to provide additional support and resources to job seekers.

"This event is an important opportunity to connect job seekers with employers who are actively hiring in our region," said Angie Kelley of the Brewton Career Center. "We encourage anyone looking for employment or a career change to attend and take advantage of the resources available."

The Alabama Career Center System (ACCS) is part of the Alabama Department of Workforce's Employment Services Division. The ACCS operates 57 Career Centers throughout the state, touching all 67 counties. Career Centers provide free services for both jobseekers and employers, including résumé and interview preparation services, educational and vocational training, along with workforce development services and wage assistance.
