RJC Calls on New York City Mayor-Elect Zohran Mamdani to Condemn Vile Antisemitism

Washington, DC -The Republican Jewish Coalition released the following statement calling on New York City Mayor-Elect Zohran Mamdani to forcefully condemn the vile act of antisemitism targeting a Brooklyn yeshiva that took place hours after his election victory:

Mere hours after the City of New York elected Zohran Mamdani as its next Mayor, Brooklyn's Jewish community awoke to a disgusting act of antisemitism: two swastikas painted on the walls of Magen David Yeshiva in Gravesend.

This reprehensible and odious vandalism must be unequivocally condemned by City leaders, especially Mayor-Elect Mamdani.

It is his solemn responsibility to protect ALL New Yorkers, and this is his first true test of leadership.

We call on him to publicly speak out against rank antisemitism like this in New York City.
