Matanuska Electric Association

October 30, 2025

Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Land Office has authorized issuance of an easement for the following:

APPLICANT: Matanuska Electric Association

PROJECT NAME: ADL 234687

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Approximately five miles south of Palmer, across South Bodenburg Spur, within the DNR-Division of Agriculture's Plant Materials Center.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Within the S½ of the NW¼ of Section 34, Township 17 North, Range 2 East, Seward Meridian, as shown on the attached site diagram.

AUTHORIZED ACTIVITIES: On October 30, 2025, The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land, and Water has authorized issuance of a public utility easement measuring approximately 150 feet in length and 20 feet in width, comprising 3,000 square feet, more or less.

DNR-DMLW complies with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Individuals with disabilities who may need auxiliary aids, services or special modifications to comment should contact Alaska Relay at 711 or 800-770-8973 for TTY services.
