Bike to Work Day Shifts Gears - Join Us This Year at Union Station

Published on June 23, 2026

DENVER - Denver's Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) is celebrating the thousands of Coloradoans that have pledged to participate in Bike to Work Day. This year, DOTI is joining forces with the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) to host a breakfast station at Union Station instead of Bannock Steet. People on bikes can make a pit stop on their way into work to enjoy free breakfast burritos, coffee, visit with participating vendors, and celebrate more connections created through Denver's bike program! Mayor Johnston will be stopping by!

What: DOTI/DRCOG breakfast station

Where: Union Station, between 17th and 18th Streets

When: Wednesday, June 24

Breakfast station hours: 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Here are a few highlights of what riders will find at this year's gathering:

  • Grab a free Santiago's breakfast burrito while supplies last
  • Coffee, tea and water provided by official Bike to Work Day organizer, Way to Go (a program of DRCOG)
  • Learn how to register your bicycle with the Denver Police Department
  • Visit with participating vendors and partners
