U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT RANKS BERKELEY COLLEGE
AMONG BEST REGIONAL COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES IN THE NORTH
AND TOP PERFORMER ON SOCIAL MOBILITY

U.S. News & World Report has ranked Berkeley College among its Best Regional Colleges/Universities in the North in the 2026 edition of the Best Colleges survey. Berkeley College - New Jersey and Berkeley College - New York are also ranked among the Top Performers on Social Mobility for Regional Colleges/Universities in the North, which determines how well postsecondary institutions graduate students who are economically disadvantaged.
This is the sixth consecutive year U.S. News has recognized Berkeley College - New Jersey on the Best Colleges survey, and the fourth year it has recognized Berkeley College - New York.
Additionally, Berkeley College was recognized on the national list for Most Students Over Age 25 (No. 4 in New York and No. 9 in New Jersey); and on the regional lists for Ethnic Diversity (No. 15 in New York and No. 21 in New Jersey); and Most International Students (No. 6 in New York).
The publication ranked 1,700 colleges and universities nationwide on 17 measures of academic quality, including graduation rates, student-faculty ratio, peer assessment, retention rates, and others. To view the full methodology, click here.

Berkeley College - New Jersey rose from No. 48 last year to No. 46 this year on the Best Regional Universities - North list for Social Mobility. Berkeley College - New York rose from No. 13 last year to No. 6 this year on the Best Regional Colleges - North list for Social Mobility.
The North region includes postsecondary institutions from Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington, D.C.
