Chinese Consul General in Mumbai Qin Jie Visits Shanmukhananda Center for Performing Arts & Music on Invitation

On 28th November, Consul General Qin Jie visited the Shanmukhananda Center for Performing Arts & Music and held a meeting with the Vice Chairman Dr. V. Rangaraj.

Consul General Qin said that the leaders of China and India successfully met in Tianjin this year, and bilateral relations have been continuously improving. On this basis, the two countries should carry out more cultural and artistic exchanges to enhance mutual understanding between the two peoples and contribute to the sound development of China-India relations. Dr. Rangaraj expressed the hope of inviting Chinese performance troupes to perform at the music hall, with the aim of promoting Chinese culture to a wider Indian audience.
