Unofficial election results May 20 update
Tempe, AZ - As of 5:30 p.m., Maricopa County Elections released updated unofficial results for Tempe's May 19, 2026, ballot-by-mail city election.
This count included all ballots other than those that remain to be cured, approximately 200. The final update of results will be released following the 5 p.m. curing deadline on Friday, May 22. Results will become official following the Tempe City Council's canvass of the vote, tentatively scheduled for the June 4 Regular Council Meeting.

There are two open seats for the office of Tempe City Councilmember. Results are listed in alphabetical order by candidate name.
