RITI is looking for volunteers for CITI Camp, our free, 8-week summer camp serving children who are current or former RITI guests! We'll be crafting, dancing, playing outside, reading, and more! Sign up for a CITI Camp Volunteer Training session in order to sign up as a camp volunteer. You can attend the training in person or over Zoom.

2nd Annual Community Health Fair at Greater Galatian Missionary Baptist Church

About the Event:

Pharmacy students will assist with blood pressure and diabetes screening, as well as educate on medication adherence and drug abuse awareness.

This is a great opportunity for students to engage with the community and see how sharing their knowledge can make a real-world impact on an underserved community! It is also an opportunity to engage with other healthcare professionals in a collaborative setting. Scrubs and white coats are appropriate attire.

The health fair is on April 25, 2026 from 11 am - 2 pm. It is an outdoor event that will be moved inside the church in the event of rain, and volunteers can arrive early to help with set up!

About the Event:

Address: 102 North Second St. (Calvary Episcopal Church)

Sundays 6am-8am

The purpose of this event is to provide food, clothing, and toiletries to people experiencing homelessness in Memphis. Volunteers will help set up for the event, serve breakfast, assist with clothing and toiletry distribution, and help clean up after the event. As always, this is a great way to meet new people in our community. Please go to the back of the church to park in the lot (free to park in). You will then enter the double doors at the back of the church!

Requirements

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:

  1. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC's risk assessment guidance.
  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC's symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
