Beyond Gravity Expands Satellite Dispenser Production Capacity in Sweden to Meet Growing Constellation Demand

Beyond Gravity has expanded into a new hall adjacent to the 2024 production building, increasing the Linköping facility from 12,600 m² production area to approximately 15,000 m². The company has integrated an adjacent facility into its existing manufacturing footprint. The newly added hall is equipped with advanced manufacturing capabilities, including a new high-precision milling machine, which mills carbon fiber and aluminium to very tight tolerances. The milling machine also drills precise holes in the dispenser, these holes are used for bolts and other assemblies. As of October 2026, the Linköping site will have the capacity to manufacture 192 dispenser modules per year, up from 96 today. 192 dispenser tier modules correspond to approximately 48 flights depending on the configuration.

For Dr. Barbara Frei-Spreiter, CEO of Beyond Gravity, the expansion is about more than floor space: "With the expansion of our state-of-the-art production facility we are setting new standards to scale production in the space industry. Our Linköping site is a showcase for serial production, scalability, enabling us to support the growing demand from satellite constellations." Currently 350 people work in Linköping.
