SR 1/US 27/Hamilton Road Widening From Auburn Avenue to SR 219/Morgan Street

WHAT: A traffic shift for the SR1/US27 Hamilton Rd. The widening project will start on Monday, December 15, 2025. Traffic will be diverted to the newly paved section, near Lukken Industrial and Auburn Avenue, and will return to the original alignment near Fannin Street. This shift is necessary for Phase 2, which will involve adding two additional travel lanes.

Drivers are encouraged to drive alertly through the area and reduce their speeds.

WHEN: Monday, December 15, 2025

WHERE: On SR 1/US 27, near Lukken Industrial and near Fannin Street

Advisory: Dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
