Earn Your Master’s in Coaching and Sports Administration

As educators and coaches, we continually help others grow. We encourage athletes to set goals, develop new skills, overcome challenges, and reach their potential. Yet many of us put our own professional growth on hold because life gets busy.

Over the years, I've had many conversations with coaches and sports professionals who tell me they've thought about earning a master's degree. They know it could help prepare them for future opportunities, strengthen their leadership skills, and distinguish them professionally. The challenge usually isn't desire-it's finding the right time.

Coaching, teaching, travel, family responsibilities, and the demands of everyday life have a way of pushing graduate school to "someday." We understand that our graduate students are balancing careers, coaching responsibilities, and family commitments, so the Coaching and Sports Administration master's program was designed to fit the realities of their lives.

A Program Built for Coaches and Sports Professionals

Students move through the program as a cohort, building relationships with colleagues who understand their world. Courses are practical, relevant, and taught by current and former coaches and athletic leaders who bring real-world experience into every class.

While many of our students are coaches, others work in athletic administration, youth sports organizations, recreation programs, collegiate athletics, and sports-related businesses. What they share is a passion for leadership and a desire to expand their opportunities.

A $10,000 Scholarship Opportunity for Fall 2026

By starting your MEd this fall you'll also receive Concordia Texas's Workforce Development Scholarship, which supports your degree with a $10,000 scholarship toward tuition. The Workforce Development Scholarship combined with flexible payment plan options, it makes this one of the most affordable opportunities we've ever offered to earn a master's degree from Concordia Texas.
