Department of Homeland Security Hosts Hiring Expo in Jacksonville – Focus on Transportation Security Officer Positions at JAX

Jacksonville, FL - The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is excited to announce a comprehensive Hiring Expo taking place on June 16 and 17, 2026. This two-day event offers job seekers the opportunity to explore a wide range of career opportunities across all DHS components, including hiring Transportation Security Officers (TSOs) for Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), Gainesville Regional (GNV), Tallahassee International (TLH), Northwest Florida Beaches International (ECP), Eglin AFB/Destin-Ft Walton Beach (VPS) and Brunswick Golden Isles (BQK).

"TSOs play a critical role in safeguarding the traveling public and ensuring the security of our nation's transportation systems," said TSA Assistant Federal Security Director-Screening for JAX Christopher Baden. "DHS and TSA are seeking motivated individuals who are committed to public service and interested in joining the frontline team at JAX."
