Ambassador Tigran Mkrtchyan Received Representatives of Yerevan State University Student Scientific Society

On January 5, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Greece, Tigran Mkrtchyan, received representatives of the Student Scientific Society of Yerevan State University, headed by the President of the YSU Student Scientific Society, Siranush Baghumyan.

Ambassador Mkrtchyan presented to the Armenian students visiting Greece for educational purposes the main areas of activity of the Embassy. In particular, the Ambassador elaborated on the existing cooperation between Armenia and Greece in the fields of culture and education, as well as on ongoing and prospective cooperation programs between various higher education institutions.

The possibilities for establishing contacts between youth organizations, exchanging experience, and organizing mutual visits within the framework of cooperation between higher education institutions of the two countries were also discussed.

The Ambassador also presented the specific features of cooperation between the Embassy and Armenian community organizations operating in Greece.
