Metro Action to Host Potential Youth Employers for Summer 2026 on Friday

The Metropolitan Action Commission (MAC) will host a special event this Friday to engage potential employer partners for its POWER Youth Program, a dynamic workforce development initiative that connects more than 1,500 Davidson County youth with meaningful, real-world job experiences.

The event is designed for employers interested in hosting youth interns during Summer 2026. Through the MAC POWER Youth Program, participating youth are matched with employers and paid directly by MAC, removing financial barriers for businesses while providing valuable opportunities for young people.

Employers attending Friday's presentation will learn how they can:

  • Support local workforce development
  • Mentor the next generation
  • Gain fresh perspectives
  • Strengthen their community impact

Whether employers are able to host interns, offer job shadowing opportunities, or participate in career panels, their involvement plays a vital role in shaping the future of Nashville's youth.
