Investigators Working To Identify Vehicle Involved In Friday's Fatal Hit And Run
Traffic Division investigators are working to identify the vehicle involved in Friday's 7:25 p.m. hit and run crash on Old Hickory Boulevard at Rocky Lane that claimed the life of Robert E. Powell, 63, of Hereford, Arizona. The initial call reported a person had fallen in the intersection, but upon arrival, NFD medics recognized his injuries were consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
Powell was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.
Evidence collected from the scene suggests the vehicle involved may be a large SUV or pickup truck.
