Police responded to the 200th block of Alewife Brook Parkway for report of malicious destruction of property. An employee reported that the glass door at the back of the store had been smashed. No merchandise reported stolen.

Scott Wallace, 34, unhoused with a last known address in Norton, was placed under arrest on a charge of Destruction of Evidence. Officers approached Wallace in Porter Sq. while he was engaged in open drug use. Upon seeing officers, Wallace destroyed the suspected illegal narcotics.

Police responded to a business on the 200th block of Main St for a past shoplifting. Store employee stated that a suspect comes into the store and steals items almost daily. The suspect is often is confrontational with staff and carries a large stick.

Police responded to the area of Inman Street and Massachusetts Avenue for a report of an assault & battery. A cyclist reported a motorist had exited their vehicle and slapped them in the back of the head. The cyclist was not injured.

Jerome Curry, 37, of Dorchester was arrested on a charge of Shoplifting $250+ by Asportation. The store manager reported that Curry had stolen $392 worth of merchandise and fled. Officers were able to locate Curry nearby and subsequently placing him under arrest.

A Somerville resident was summoned to the Cambridge District Court for Operating After License Suspension and other motor vehicle offenses. The violations were uncovered during a traffic stop for an observed violation on Cambridge St. near the intersection with Sumner Rd.

Police responded to a Porter Square parking lot for a report of malicious destruction to a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they had a verbal argument with another motorist over a parking space. The other motorist then punched the mirror of the reporting person's vehicle, causing damage.

James Skill, 69, of Boston was placed under arrest on an active warrant out of Boston District Court and a charge of Defraud a Restaurant. Officers responded to a Harvard Sq. restaurant on a report that Skill had run up a $135.89 tab and had no means of paying. During the interaction it was learned that Skill had a warrant.
