Veterans’ Recognition at Broome County Senior Centers

(BROOME COUNTY, NY) - All veterans and their families and friends are invited to a special Veterans' Recognition at local senior centers on Monday, November 10, 2025 (Thursday, November 6 in Deposit - evening event).

The centers are offering a variety of activities to honor those who have served our country, including recognition ceremonies, music and a delicious meal served around noon. The lunch menu includes broccoli cheese stuffed chicken, sides, and a decedent dessert cup.

All veterans will receive a complimentary lunch. All others age 60+ and their spouses of any age may dine at a voluntary, suggested contribution of $4. All those under age 60 are charged $5.

Please call the center of your choice to make a lunch reservation by noon on Friday, November 7 (Wednesday, November 5 for Deposit).
