Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke today with Bolivia's President-Elect Rodrigo Paz Pereira to congratulate him on his historic election. The Secretary emphasized that this moment marks a transformative opportunity for Bolivia and our region. The Secretary reaffirmed our nation's willingness to partner with Bolivia to encourage economic security and prosperity and U.S. support to combat transnational criminal organizations that threaten our hemisphere.
