Millbrae Station: bus location changes starting Sunday, June 14

Starting Sunday June 14th, bus locations at Millbrae Station will change. Due to construction on El Camino Real, the SamTrans ECR service routing will change, and will stop on the west side of Millbrae Station. As part of this change, there will also be a change in station bus stop numbers (these identify the stop location separately from the route number) to accommodate additional bus stops on the West Side of the station. Bus Stop number locations and the location of each route are shown below in text and map

New bus stop locations (see map below)

  • Stops A1 to A6 (previously B1 to B6) will be the stops on the East Side Access Road adjacent to the BART Garage, with A1 closest to the station entrance and A6 closest to Rollins Rd.
  • Stops B1 to B3 (previously C1 to C3) will be on Rollins Road
  • Stops C1 and C2 (previously 12 and 13) will be on the West Side adjacent to the Caltrain platform, with C1 closest to the station entrance
  • Stops D1 and D2 will be on the West Side, use the crosswalk to the first island, with D1 closest to the station entrance
  • Stops G1 and G2 will be on the West Side, along Northbound California St, use the crosswalks to the second island from the station entrance, with G1 closest to the station entrance
  • Stops H1 and H2 (previously 7 and 8) will be on the West Side, along Southbound California St), use the crosswalk to the first island, walk south to the end of the island, and use both crosswalks to get to the opposite side of California St. H1 is just to the right of the crosswalk. H2 is further to the right.

Beginning Monday, February 23rd, the entrance to the 19th St./Oakland Station located at northwest corner of Broadway and 17th Street will be closed for approximately two weeks. This entrance is in the pedestrian connection between Broadway and Telegraph (see map).

During this time, workers with the City of Oakland will remove damaged artwork that lines the entrance walls. Once the artwork is removed, crews will pressure wash and paint the walls before reopening the entrance to the public by March 8th.

Signage will be posted indicating the closed entrances/exits. Riders can use the nearby elevator as an alternative. We appreciate your patience as we do this important work at the station.
