Bibb County - I-75 Concrete Preservation
Lane closures daily

WHAT:Crews will be working along approximately 4.5 miles of I-75 to preserve and extend the life of the roadway. Daily lane closures will be needed as work takes place between Sardis Church Road and Tobeosofkee Creek.

WHEN: Beginning August 12, 2026, and continuing through the end of 2026, or until the work is complete.

WHERE: I-75/SR 401 in Bibb County, from approximately Sardis Church Road to Tobeosofkee Creek (Mileposts 152.6-157.1).

Motorists should expect slower traffic and possible delays while traveling through the work zone. Drivers are encouraged to use caution, pay attention to signs and allow extra time when traveling through the area.
Lane closures will be limited during holidays to help accommodate increased holiday travel.


Advisory: Dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
