First Service Bank is proud to announce the promotion of Emily Mahan to Government Guaranteed Underwriter and Manager. Mahan has been with First Service Bank for eight years and previously served as Government Guaranteed Underwriter.
In her new role, Mahan will oversee the underwriting and processing of loans backed by government agencies, including the Small Business Administration (SBA) and USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA), while continuing to provide cash flow analysis for these loans. She will also take on additional leadership responsibilities, providing guidance and support to her team.
"I'm excited about the opportunity to lead and support a team, share my knowledge, and contribute to a positive and successful work environment," Mahan said. "This position gives me the opportunity to serve others in a greater capacity while helping businesses succeed."
"Emily has been an incredible asset to First Service Bank over the past eight years, and we are proud to see her step into this well-deserved role," said Julie Chambers, CFO & Senior Vice President of Government Guaranteed Lending, CPA. "Her knowledge, work ethic, and commitment to serving others make her a natural leader. I am confident she will continue to strengthen our Government Guaranteed Lending team while providing the exceptional service our customers deserve."
Mahan has also served First Service Bank as a Credit Analyst and Loan Processor. A Greenbrier High School graduate, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Arkansas University. She is also a 2026 NAGGL Future Lending Leaders Program graduate.
"The culture and the people are what make this bank such a special place to work," Mahan said. "Everyone is supportive, uplifting, and hardworking, with a shared commitment to achieving the same goals."
Outside of work, Mahan enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter on their small farm, where they care for cows and horses and enjoy roping and participating in rodeo events.
First Service Bank congratulates Mahan on her promotion and looks forward to her continued leadership and commitment to serving customers, coworkers, and communities.
