The City of Fairfield Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce plans for the 2025 Veterans Day Parade in Downtown Fairfield, taking place on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. This year's theme is "Forever Grateful," honoring the dedication and sacrifice of our nation's veterans.
A special Commemoration Ceremony & Concert will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, inside the Downtown Theatre, located at 1035 Texas Street. The event will be hosted by Travis Air Force Base and conducted by the Fairfield/Suisun City American Legion Reams Post 182.
The Veterans Day Parade will begin at 12:30 p.m., featuring local organizations, marching bands, and community groups. The parade route will travel down Kentucky Street to Great Jones, then turn up Texas Street to Washington.
This year's Grand Marshal is John H. Aldridge, a retired U.S. Air Force Technical Sergeant, longtime American Legion leader, and current California Department Commander. Mr. Aldridge is also the founder of Liberty Post 316 and has dedicated his life to serving veterans and his community.
