Two groups of Malta Freeport employees recently completed the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) training programme, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and operational excellence.
The programme equipped participants with the practical knowledge and skills to identify, assess, and manage workplace risks effectively. Covering key areas such as risk assessment, hazard identification, incident investigation, emergency preparedness, legal compliance, and effective risk-control measures, the training empowers employees to make informed decisions and take proactive steps to create a safer working environment.
In a dynamic port environment, where people, equipment, and operations interact continuously, safety extends far beyond regulatory compliance. It requires strong leadership, shared responsibility, and a culture that prioritises prevention at every level.
At #MaltaFreeportTerminals, we remain committed to investing in the continuous professional development of our people to ensure best practice across our operations and a safety culture that supports both our employees and the long-term success of the Terminal.
