Shop, swap and celebrate at Westside Community Center's Saleabration this Saturday

Neighbors can shop, swap and connect at the third annual Saleabration Block Party at the Westside Community Center on Saturday, July 11, from 8 a.m. to noon.

The free family event will feature a community-wide yard sale, makers market, food trucks, a plant and seed swap, a nonperishable food drive and live entertainment. Residents are invited to shop, connect with neighbors and learn more about programs and activities offered at the Westside Community Center.

"Saleabration is a fun way to bring neighbors together while supporting local vendors and celebrating everything the Westside Community Center has to offer," said Alberto Jaramillo, program administration at Westside Community Center. "Whether you're looking for unique finds, sharing plants or seeds, or simply spending time with family and friends, there's something for everyone."

The Westside Community Center offers a variety of programs and activities to build a stronger, more connected neighborhood. Offerings range from fitness programs, to music lessons, youth tutoring, gardening education, rentable community garden plots, and so much more. On-site tenants include the African American Historical and Genealogical Society of Colorado Springs, Run Mental, Westside Cares Food Pantry, the Catamount Institute, United Hearts Community School, Modern Yoga, and Westside Music. The Center has space available for rent, including meeting and community rooms and a small gymnasium.
