Recreation Plan 30- Day Public Review Period

✨ Ludington's Recreation Future! ✨

The draft 2026-2030 City of Ludington Recreation Plan is hot off the press and ready for public review!

As part of the process, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) requires a 30-day public review period, giving everyone a chance to check out what's planned for our parks before the final version is adopted.

Take a stroll through the future of our parks, trails, open spaces, and recreation amenities. This five-year roadmap dives into:

  • Enhancing and maintaining our parks and recreation assets across the city.
  • Strengthening connections between public spaces, natural areas, and community life.
  • Aligning our goals with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources's (MDNR) guidelines so we stay eligible for key grant opportunities.
