Share Your "Paper Trail" Story At StorySLAM Performance June 6

Submit Your Story Idea By May 8!

The city of Las Vegas "Paper Trail'" StorySLAM seeks storytellers who can weave captivating narratives about their experiences with paper trails. Every story leaves a trace. This "paper trail" theme uncovers the records, documents and breadcrumbs that hold the power to reveal secrets, spark memories or change lives forever. From love letters to eviction notices, faded receipts to legal contracts, the paper trail marks our triumphs, mistakes and everything in between. Are you ready to tell your true personal, hilarious or exhilarating tale of how a paper trail led you to discover secrets, uncover problems, understand the past or plan the future in a 10-minute story?

If you are ready to share your tale at StorySLAM "Paper Trail'" and wish to be considered as a storyteller for the June 6 StorySLAM performance, submit a one- or two-sentence description of your story by email to [email protected] no later than May 8, 2026. All levels of experience are invited to apply.

Selected storytellers will have the opportunity to enhance their storytelling skills, refine their narrative and connect with fellow storytellers through three free workshops led by teaching artist and emcee Dayvid Figler. These workshops will be held on the three Wednesdays leading up to the event ― May 20, May 27 and June 3 ― 6:30-8 p.m. at the Charleston Heights Arts Center.

Everyone is invited to enjoy the 7 p.m. performance June 6, where every bold experience will be appreciated and every story worth telling. Storytellers will have you laughing and empathizing with the challenges of following or covering their paper trails.
